Anyone who supposedly carries the part I need for the Super B has unfortunately not responded to emails or calls in the last couple of months. Unfortunately parts are coming up a little short. Though new to semi auto pistols, I know that the extractor should be at least protruding from the slide a couple of mm. Further testing with some dummy rounds confirms this for me, as when the extractor is pulling the round from the barrel it is completely flush to the slide. I switched back, and unfortunately still had the issue.įrom this, I assumed the extractor was worn. Up until this extraction issue I had been using Geco 125 grn rounds, and the pistol ran like a Singer sewing machine with those. These are 115 grn, and in my poking around various forums, I have seen people report issues with the WW WB and W WB, due to inconsistencies with the manufacturing of the casings. The issue originally arose when I started using the WB Winchester 9mm rounds. I did another cleaning, and still experienced the same issue. ![]() Spent casing were not being extracted from the barrel. Into about the 3rd month of ownership, it began to develop an extraction issue. I have had it at the range several times in the months to follow. STAR MODEL B FULLIn any case, I did a full take done, cleaning and lubricating the gun thoroughly. Gun is in really good shape, just some minor holster wear on the slide, and grips are worn from use. I wasn't able to find a Star subsection and since I am looking for some expertise, I thought this might be a good place to start.īack in April I purchased my first semi-auto, a Spanish surplus Star Super B from my local surplus store. ![]() This is my first post so I do apologize if this is not the location this should be in. ![]()
